Macro and Close-Up Photography Workshop – beginning level

The Cuenca Camera Club – English (CCCE) presents a workshop to explore the wonders of small and very small subjects through photography. Topics will include:

• Macro and close-up photography
• Technical considerations
• Equipment choices
• How to best use the camera you have
• Subject ideas – table top & in the field
• Demonstrations by instructor
• Students hands-on lab
Instructor: Jack Twiggs, Internationally Certified Forensics Photographer
When: Wednesday, April 18th
Time: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a break for individual lunch and specimen collection from 1-3 PM.
Where: Cuenca Museum (Gran Columbia y Benigno Malo – Entry across Gran Columbia from La Cuchara Magica Restaurant – Class will be in Room 2 on the second floor

What to Bring: Your Camera of any type or level including a mobile phone or tablet with a camera. Those that have advance equipment should bring that as well. Also recommend you bring a small container with a top or a “ziplock” bag for specimens, a pad/notebook and pen for notes, and an umbrella in case of rain as we will be doing some outside work.
Registration: There are only four seats left for this workshop and they are offered on a first come basis. You must pre-register not later than April 11th (earlier would help) by submitting the below information via email to – you will be advised by return e-mail if you have a seat in the workshop.
