Always wanted to write?

Something in the air of Cuenca promotes and fosters creativity. If you want to record your experiences and ideas in writing, the Cuenca International Writers Conference is the perfect opportunity for you. Our keynote speaker, Mark Sullivan, will share what it was like to write the New York Times bestseller, Beneath a Scarlet Sky. Kimberly Parrish Davis, director the Texas Review Press, will talk about university publishers, Evan L. Balkan will reveal his secrets on travel writing, and a host of other speakers will help you enhance your craft and inspire your creativity. With sessions for writers who focus on fiction, non-fiction, poetry, screenwriting, and the business end of writing, you'll leave the event wiser, more experienced, and with new ideas for your writing.
However, writers need more than information to create great works. The conference will be full of fun and creativity, giving you the opportunity to laugh, dance, and discuss your ideas with our faculty as well as other attendees. Our goal is for you to have as much fun as learning, so that you leave the conference with great memories as well as inspiration and knowledge.

For more information about the conference, including the schedule of events and full list of presenters, visit Be sure to look for the coupon hint that gives all who live in Ecuador a discounted registration.
