There is a reason why they are different.

Cuenca bagels are:
1. Made to order, you get what you want, not what is available
2. No preservatives in our bagels just salt, sugar, yeast, flour and, water; sealed in plastic to preserve freshness.
3. Many of our 14 varieties are exclusive to us; many contain more than 10% of their special ingredients.
4. We are happy to mix your order; no need to buy six identical basic bagels.
6. Many store-bought bagels are made by machine in a continuous process such as you see in Domino’s or Pizza Hut.
7. This continuous process means that, instead of boiling the bagels they are hit with super-heated steam.
8. This rapid exposure to steam keeps them from having the hardened outside those handmade bagels have and prevents them obtaining a golden color.
9. We ship our bagels to several other cities.
