Recommendation for Isabel Mosquera, facilitator

With the new year here, some of you may be considering taking legal steps to relocate to Ecuador, obtain a Visa, secure insurance or perhaps a Cedula. Thus begin the questions: do I need a lawyer, could a facilitator do the same job for substantially less, where do I find such a person? Mercy! What to do? Look no further if you want personalized service with a smile, extreme focus on details, someone steeped in the ins and outs of the ever-changing Ecuadorian procedures and on top of all that - won't break the bank.

I was very fortunate to be introduced to Isabel on an initial visit to Ecuador while performing some due diligence of my own.

I found Isabel to never be too busy to answer questions, she has the patience of Job, she's prompt and very intelligent. Being Ecuadorian, she's fluent in Spanish, and having lived in Canada a number of years, she's fluent in English. She held my hand throughout the entire process beginning with the necessary documents to obtain from the US, including time limits, to setting up appointments with officials here in Ecuador to complete the process. She took me to obtain health insurance, served as the interpreter and stayed with me the entire time to obtain coverage suitable for me.

I am in a unique position to ferret out quality people for this type of assistance, having had a career spanning some 30 years as "that person" for extremely demanding Philadelphia lawyers. You will not find anyone more qualified.

Oh, did I mention she won't break the bank?
