John Keeble's Photography Workshop is now offered on January 31st

Don't miss this added opportunity. The 30th filled within 24 hours, so John is offering it again on 31st.

Photography Workshop by John Keeble at idiomART Studio

Good photographs are created in the mind. You do not need complicated equipment. Just knowing how images are constructed and using some easy techniques will enable you to make captivating images with the camera you regularly use.

Photographer/Writer John Keeble is offering a 6-hour workshop at idiomART Studio. He’ll be sharing how to make your camera your ally. John specializes in photography that speaks to viewers as single images and as stories. His firm belief is that anyone can make good images, with meaning and emotion, using any kind of automatic camera. His photographs have appeared in every kind of media worldwide for over half a century. Probably more than 1.5 million people have seen images made since he came to Cuenca. These include the rising Super Moon over the Domes (being used now by the Cuenca tourist board) and animal-rescue images, shot soon after the 2016 devastating earthquake on the coast.

The workshop will be split into three parts: the morning session will be a non-technical presentation on how to get the photos you want; the middle involves going out into the city to practice; and during the third you will return in the afternoon to review your efforts. By the end of workshop, you’ll be taking photos that tell the stories you want.

As a special bonus, each workshop participant will also get a free copy of John’s e-book,
Automatically Better, written and illustrated for users of automatic cameras.

The workshop will be held:

Wednesday, January 31st
10 AM - noon (instruction), noon - 2 PM (practice), 2 PM - 4 PM (review).

Only 10 spots per session, so please sign-up as soon as possible.

The cost is $15, which can be paid via PayPal or in cash. Payment required for registration confirmation. Email for payment arrangement information.

Wednesday, January 31st, from 10 AM to 4 PM, idiomART Studio is located at 5-92 Manuel Vega y Juan Jaramillo
