Upcoming tax seminar

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about my background as I'll be your speaker for the 2-hour seminar. My tax prep career began in 1983 for the largest firm in the US., located in Downey, CA, preparing taxes for ministers, churches, and non-profit organizations which entailed a highly specialized field of taxation. I was licensed by the State of California, Consumer Affairs CTEC Division from 1983 till 2011 when we moved to Cuenca. I was also a licensed "full" Life Agent, Securities Series 7, and a commissioned Notary Public for the State of California from 2002 until 2011. Beginning in 1985 and continuing through 2011, I ran my own self-employed tax practice serving a client base of approximately 280 individuals. After our "retirement" to Cuenca I quit doing taxes until restarting my business with the 2014 tax season after seeing a need for U.S. Citizens to realize the possible need of filing a return especially due to the FACTA/FBAR severe rules of reporting. Since I don't hail from California anymore, I have met the full requirements of the IRS's AFSP program regarding continuing education and ethics. Being a registered tax preparer with IRS, I am now bound, and subject, by stringent Circular 230 rules just like attorneys, CPA's, and EA's.

I would consider it an honor for those of you who attend on serving you. I will do my best to inform, and entertain you on a subject that many might feel is as interesting as watching "paint dry". I'll share some of my own "war stories" as well as topics that might be of more import to all of us who have attained a certain age. If you have an interest, I'm sure some of my current clients will attest to my level of professionalism.

If you wish to attend, please reserve to, To clarify something that was brought to my attention, food and drink will not be offered by me but by the Vegetable Bar directly. As a result of my not making this clear, the cost of the seminar has been reduced to $25 per person which will include a booklet of subjects covered during the seminar.

Wed. January 10, 2018 from 10 AM till noon, The Vegetable Bar
