Classical music fans, unite

I arrived in Cuenca from the USA two years ago with over 70,000 MP3 files, mostly classical music. They are MP3 copies of my own recordings, CDs and some LPs, collected by me, a musician, over a lifetime, each MP3 produced by me at home (so, I assume, they are technically legal). If you have noticed the scarcity of classical music on sale in Ecuador (and the poor-quality MP3s), you're with me.

The true collector's urge never ceases. Maybe one solution is for us to set up a barter/trade group to share our enthusiasm for music and our collections. The vast majority of my MP3 files are created at 320kbps, the best MP3 quality possible, so playback fidelity is very good.

Files are likely too large for email attachments so we can exchange by way of thumb drives with the files copied. If you are interested, respond here in the Post with way to contact - or email me in Cuenca and we can discuss setting up a small group and managing our file exchanges. Email me as speccman at outlook dot com.

Cheers - and Beethoven forever,
