Recommendation for Atyco, assistance with SRI

Today I spent less than 1 hour getting SRI set up with Valeria Gutiérrez at ATYCO. This was so much easier and less expensive than using a facilitator (I know because I tried doing this a year ago!) and there was no cost to set it up. In the future all I do is bring in my receipts every few months and she electronically posts them on my account. The cost for this service is 15% of the funds I will receive. The maximum you can get back in one month is $90. You cannot have certain items on the receipt or the entire receipt will be excluded. They include alcohol, dog food, jewelry, perfumes, scarves, belts, car spare parts and a few others. This was the simplest service I have ever set up and the cost is minimal for what you get... not having to fill out all the IVA accounting info. Valeria speaks great English and was wonderful to work with.

You must be 65 years age or older
You need an Ecuadorian ID (Cedula; the original one, not a copy)
You need an e-mail address
You need an SRI password (They will set this up for you)
You need a letter from your Bank with your account information. It must be written and signed by
Bank within the last 30 days.

ATYCO is located on Remigio Crespo Toral y Miguel Diaz directly across from the SRI office. They are actually a type of accounting firm. The Pjone number is (07) 288 4827 or you can reach Valeria through the email:

Address: Remigio Crespo Toral s/n Miguel Diaz (frente al SRI)
