Moroccan food and live music

This Saturday we're cooking up a Moroccan feast at El Salón and live music with Edria Barbieri with Bossa Nova and World Music . Come join us or give us a call to book a home delivery.

There menu is made up of three Moroccan dishes, designed for sharing in your group; and costs $9.50 per person. The dishes are:

Chicken tagine: A tagine is a slow-cooked Moroccan stew. Our tagine is made with chicken, and flavoured with preserved lemons, olives and Moroccan spices.

Kefta mkaouara: Home-made, spiced meatballs form the basis of this dish. They are topped with eggs, and then the whole dish is baked in the oven. Spiced with paprika, cumin, cinnamon and cilantro; perfect with a hunk of bread for dipping!

Garbanzo bean salad: A fresh, light salad that makes a great accompaniment to our mains, with chickpeas, red peppers, onion and carrot flavoured with mint and cumin.

All accompanied with fresh bread.

Why not accompany your meal with a bottle of white or red Chilean wine for just $12?

Bookings highly recommended.

Saturday, 21st Oct, food available from 5 PM, live music 7-8 PM, el Salón, Luis Cordero 6-75 y Presidente Córdova, Centro Histórico, Cuenca.
