Introduction to Pilates Workshop at SkyFit

Join Sky on Monday October 30th from 3 PM - 5 PM and learn how to create a strong, balanced body with Pilates. $10 includes handouts.

Pilates exercises focus on your body’s core — the abdominal muscles, obliques, lower back and buttocks. The majority of Pilates exercises use many muscles in synchronization, while putting emphasis on proper form/posture. Pilates develops strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance, and good posture.

Boredom will never be a factor, as there are endless exercise variations and progressions.
With so many variations and levels, Pilates is suitable for beginners to advanced individuals.

*Pilates should only be taught by fully certified and qualified instructors with a strong background in biomechanics to ensure the proper execution of exercises.

Sky Rajewski is a Professional Trainer/Instructor & Trainer of Trainers, owner/operator of "SkyFit" Sky has masters of Kinesiology specializing in sports medicine and exercise physiology and biomechanics. In addition, Sky is certified in every facet of fitness, personal training, functional training, injury prevention and rehabilitation, all levels of Pilates, aerobics, step, spinning, 3rd age, pre & post natal, TRX & RIP systems, weight training, stretch therapy, cross fit, etc.

Over the past 37 years, Sky has trained amateur and professional athletes, and fitness enthusiasts. Whether you are a beginner or advanced fitness enthusiast, training for a sport or athletic event, or require an active rehabilitation program, Sky will ensure that you attain your goals. Sky is a trainer of trainers and has certified over 300 fitness instructors and personal trainers, over the past 37 years.
In addition to writing health and fitness articles, Sky has also written two books: “Safe and Effective Stretching Techniques”, and “Strong to the Core”, and several teaching manuals.
