New bakery and cafe

Last week, two brothers from Venezuela opened the Europan Place Cafe on Sucre #13-20 by Juan Montalvo. I love that they have a great selection of freshly baked breads that are different from the local Ecuadorian bakeries. You can get whole loaves of sliced wheat bread, French Baguettes and other types of bread. They also have croissants stuffed with cheese for .15 and cinnamon rolls for .25, that are delicious! I'm most impressed with the desserts! Most local cafes are charging for cakes and pies up to $4 a slice. Here however, most are under $1.50. I had a fantastic flan for only .50 that I know I could not make myself for that price. They also serve pizza and beer. They are open daily from 7:30 AM to 8 PM (closed on Sundays). They can be reached at 098 028 2034 or 097 863 0008 for more information.
