Cuenca Garden Co-op membership opportunity

We are excited to begin our third season, moving to a new location and our first true farm! We invite those interested to consider participating with us beginning in September. Members can lease their own garden plot, 5 square meters (50 square feet) to garden as they like. We will prepare the bed for you, a three-step process, introducing rich compost to the excellent existing soil. The rest is up to you, though our assistance is always available.

Our new location is in San Miguel, west on Ordonez Lasso to the new light (#4 as you head west from Las Americas) and then about 2 kilometers up the hill. Best for those with a car, but you can reach us on the #3 bus.

Volunteers are welcome to help with our garden plot, planting, weeding, and harvesting.

We have divided our perennials, canna lilies, calla lilies, agapanthus lilies and irises, and we have them for sale. Our new greenhouse will continue to produce heirloom tomatoes, peppers, green beans and okra.

As always we sell a wide variety of heirloom seeds. Write to us for a full seed list. We are enjoying a brief vacation now but will resume our Saturday morning market in town on September 2.

Thank you all for your continuing support as we begin our third season!
