Recommendation for Jodie, Visa Angels, visa application assistance

Thanks to Jodie Mansfield of Visa Angels, I had a soft landing in Cuenca with the necessary paperwork for my application for a residency visa and cedula. I arrived here in July of 2016, but Jodie started answering my questions by email starting in December of 2015 while I was still in the States. She was very clear about what documents I needed and never hesitated to answer any of my questions promptly during the months prior to my departure for Cuenca. Everything Jodie advised me to do was right on target—she saved me time and ultimately money with my document gathering. Visa Angels lives up to its name with Jodie, and I can't thank her enough for making such a new experience hassle free, and yes, this part is free.

When I arrived in Cuenca, Jodie arranged to meet me in a timely manner to get the actual application process started. From our very first meeting to get my documents delivered to her for translation, and during the entire application process in Azogues for the visa, and for the cedula in Cuenca, Jodie always communicated with me about what to expect in that session and what the upcoming steps would be. She was also clear each time about what her fees would be, and I thought they were extremely reasonable. From the beginning I felt confident in her knowledge, experience, and skills. I marvel at her ability to keep her clients and the application stages they are in at the top of her mind. In short she knows her stuff and inspires confidence. I was also impressed with her working relationship with the Ecuadorian staff. When four of us went with her to pick up our cedulas, she was everywhere at once, making sure each of us was taken care of in whatever stage of the process we were in that day, alerting us as to what would happen next, and making sure everything went smoothly. It did.

I would not hesitate to refer Jodie to anyone thinking of moving here. She is a gold mine of information, is crystal clear with what needs to be done, and knows the steps to help clients be successful...I am happy to say I received both my visa and cedula in November, and I have Jodie to thank.
