Recommendation for El Farol, restaurant

El Farol Bar de Tapas has been opened for a few months now. It's owned by the same Saragurena family who runs the ShamuiCo in Saraguro.

The venue is small, cozy, on the second floor of the old adobe building on the corner of Loja and 12 de Abril, on the Plaza del Farol.

The menu presents around 15 tapas and a few desert options. The four of us had Papas Bravas (spiced potatos) with lightly fried fish, the small burger (with flavorful, juicy meat), the fresh tuna, lemony tartar, and the Macarone Carbonara (with home-smoked pancetta and poached quail eggs).
