Driver’s license

I lost my license recently. I had my friend Javier drive me around town to the various offices to obtain a replacement. We were told that I needed to see a psychologist, and to get a medical report.

So, I went to psychologist. Then I saw the doctora and she said yes, you need blood work done to get a replacement license. Then I asked the nurse at the clinic that drew my blood if this was true and she said yes. Blood panel (14 items} plus donate specimens. So, my cost for this was nearly $200.

Anyone have firsthand knowledge on this matter?

Many thanks,
