Nonviolent Conflict – any interest in learning more?

Hi everyone, I’m curious if there’s enough interest among the expats in Cuenca for me to create a series of lectures/workshops on using nonviolent methods to counter violent oppression or enact social transformation.

I see these classes being about an hour each, and all resources would be available free over the Internet. They would be informational in content, not intended for college credit, and cost a modest amount if we have enough people interested. I don’t anticipate starting before September.

If so, I’ll be drawing on Internet based college courses I’m scheduled to teach this fall that introduce the idea of nonviolent conflict (bachelors), explore nonviolent responses to terrorism (masters), and teach policy makers the dynamics of using nonviolent conflict for social transformation (PhD).

If you’re interested in participating, let me know,
