Moroccan Night this Saturday

This Saturday we're cooking up a Moroccan feast at El Salón. Come join us or give us a call to book a home delivery.

There menu is made up of three Moroccan dishes, designed for sharing in your group; and costs $9 per person. The dishes are:

Harira: The classic, warming Moroccan soup made with chickpeas, tomatoes and lentils in a lightly-spiced, flavorful broth.

Beef tagine: A tagine is a slow-cooked Moroccan stew. Our tagine is made with succulent beef, and flavoured with preserved prunes, cumin, turmeric, tomato and other spices.

Moroccan tortilla: Traditionally made by the Jewish community in Morocco for Pesaj, this is similar to the Spanish egg and potato omelet, but is flavored with turmeric. Makes a great accompaniment to the tagine!

All this is accompanied with fresh bread.
