Facial rejuvenation with IPL - Dra Doménica Toledo

The IPL or "Intense Pulsed Light" eliminates the traces that years, stress, and above all, the sun, leave on the skin, providing a global and uniform rejuvenation of the face, neck, neckline and even hands.

IPL emits a broad band of light that allows several targets to be treated at the same time, pigmented spots, veins or rough skin texture and thus improve the overall quality of the skin by stimulating the formation of collagen.

The energy of the light acts on the deeper layers to gradually improve the tone and texture of the skin, eliminate stains, redness, enlarged pores, fine wrinkles and give luminosity.

Treatment

The treatment should start with perfectly clean skin.
It is done using a gel on the area that allows the transmission of light energy and a cooling system that protects the most superficial layers of the skin.
Depending on the size of the area to be treated, the procedure can last around 20 minutes. After the treatment, the patient can put on makeup and join their normal life.

Results

The results are evident from the first session. It takes between 3 and 5 sessions with an interval of at least three weeks.
The improvements are perceived progressively. First, the spots and redness disappear and the skin recovers a much more uniform tone. As the treatment progresses, a general improvement in the quality of the skin is noticed.
