Looking for volunteer to teach English at CETAP Lucy

Dear GP community,

We are looking for a volunteer prepared to teach English at a day care center (called CETAP-Lucy) in Chilcapamba. There is a group of 4 students (13-15 years of age) that need help with grammar explanations. Sessions with this group of students are scheduled for Thursday afternoons between 2 PM and 4 PM. Transport: No 14 bus (passing by Sunrise Cafe and headed out to El Valle). There is a lunchtime school run around 1:30; this bus stops right outside CETAP Lucy.

The ideal volunteer would need to be able to explain English grammar, and they would need to be able to do this in Spanish (lower-intermediate level and above). Grammar terminology in Spanish is not that different, but the prospective volunteer would need to understand the underlying concept and the rules involved as well.

If you are interested, get in touch with me, Elizabeth, by phone or email. Elizabeth Bekes ebekes@ yahoo.co.uk 098 939 0277
