Book study

The Cuenca Shambhala Meditation Group will be continuing their book study meetings on Thursdays (new day). Everyone is welcome to participate at the WindHorse Café on Calle Larga y Hermano Miguel.

The book that will be discussed starting Thursday, August 31th will be "Mindfulness in Action" by Chogyam Trungpa (1940-1987). Trumpa was a pioneer in presenting the teachings of mindfulness in North America.

“Reading Mindfulness in Action" feels like sitting with a good friend. The kind voice, thoughtful words and rich territory of discussion are a lovely gift for newcomers and seasoned meditators from all traditions.” – Sharon Salzberg. The goal of this book study is to include all who aspire to become more mindful. Meditation instruction with Craig Adams is available through the Cuenca Shambhala Meditation Group which meets at the WindHorse Café on Sunday mornings.

No charge for the meetings and copies of the book will be available for a nominal fee.

Thursdays, from 3:30 PM to 5 PM, Windhorse Cafe on Calle Larga and Hermano Miguel, Cuenca.
