Cuenca laundromats/lavanderias using dirty water?

Several months ago I began using a neighborhood laundromat; I had to sell my washer and dryer to finance an unscheduled 'black mold' move. Since I began using this laundromat I've been noticing my linens and clothes not looking 'right'. I mentioned this to some friends who've lived here many years and they all said, don't you know they (laundromats) recycle or reuse their water in Cuenca to save money?

No, I assumed clean water would be used. But the fact this lavanderia didn't provide a hot water temperature selection should have been a red flag.

Does anyone know where I can take my clothes to be laundered where it can be proven that the business uses only clean, including hot water? Please include suggestions at the bottom of this post as a public service. Thank you.
