Solca Santa's helpers

Solca is Ecuador's Cancer treatment center, one of which is located in Cuenca across the street from the free hospital. Saturday, December 10, we are asking for soft plush teddy bears for the 30 children in the cancer ward at Solca who cannot go home every night. In conjunction with the Sports Federation of Cuenca, Santa will be presenting gifts to these children on December 13 at their ward in Solca.

We are asking for these teddy bear donations to be dropped off at Sunrise cafe, Saturday the 10th. The teddy bears should be for children from 3 to 10 years old and cost between $5 and $10 each. We will be taking pictures of the kids with Santa and making copies for their parents and place a copy at Sunrise before Christmas.
