Recommendation for Sofy's restaurant

Sofy’s, a new dining option. Yet another new cafĂ© has been added to Cuenca’s dining scene. What is lacking in many places around Cuenca is dining spots that have all the crucial elements for survival: character, ambiance, location, good food, and reasonable prices. Sofy’s has all of the above.

Sofy (Sofia) and her business partners took a shabby place and turned it into charm and chic with lots of artwork on the walls, great selection of light music (not loud), potted flowers, umbrella tables, and a fabulous wood-beam eating bar (you’ll have to see to appreciate). With 4 tables of 4 inside, plus 4 stools at the eating bar, and 3 tables outside, there’s plenty of seating to suit anyone’s preference. Personally, I loved sitting at the bar as a nice breeze flows through the open windows with great views. Unlike many small cafes, Sofy’s kitchen has plenty of space to get the job done.
