Paying the real cost of soot and haze - a real solution?

Learn how laypersons' concerns about global climate are being heard around positive action at Citizens Climate Lobby Monthly Call-In.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a non-partisan advocacy effort to price greenhouse gas pollution in relation to its real cost. Call-in keynote speaker is Linguistics expert George Lakoff, who wrote "Don’t Think of an Elephant!" Lakoff will share how one may choose to think about climate change as direct causation or systemic causation.

CCL’s proposed carbon fee and dividend will be explained. See the CitizensClimateLobby website for orientation. Members listen in from 349 Chapters in 29 countries.

This meeting is arranged by two immigrants who arrived in June, and who lobbied US Congress in DC June 2014 and 2015. The call-in is in English and conversation in Spanish will be available.
