Gran Roca's fresh produce, available in Cuenca and Yunguilla

You can tell the difference. We here at Gran Roca would like to thank everyone who purchased our farm fresh, sustainably grown produce last week in Cuenca as we quickly sold out again. We will bring more produce this week, including our much sought after strawberries, heirloom tomatoes, kale and real sweet potatoes. We will again be selling our produce on Wednesday, October 19, from 2-4 PM at Tienda Nectar on Benigno Malo near the corner of Gaspar Sangurima, only a couple of blocks from Parque Calderon. We will have samples available for tasting and hope to add broccoli and possibly other items to our offerings this week. For more info go to

We also want to let those of you who live in or are visiting Yunguilla (the weather here is glorious) that our produce is available directly from our farm. We currently take orders via email and arrange with you for a convenient pick-up day/time. How about that for easy? For more info go to Should there be sufficient interest, we could set up a weekly pick-up day on either Tuesday or Thursday afternoon. Let us know of your interest and which day(s) work for you.

As always:

-Produce is picked fresh in the morning for sale in the afternoon

-Produce is delicious. You can tell the difference.

-Produce is grown sustainably without the use of chemicals

-There will be samples for tasting

-Most of our produce sell for $1 or less

-Purchasers of $5 or more will receive, as a thank you, a beautiful head of fresh picked lettuce free.
