Cuenca Tomato begins its second season

Cuenca Tomato begins its second season with an expanded operation. In addition to our 20 something varieties of heirloom tomatoes, we will grow a wide variety of other fruits and vegetables. To begin we offer to our customers, seeds brought down from the USA. The seeds will arrive the 18th of November. Most will be heirloom types and many organic, including artichoke, asparagus, and many types of beans, beets, carrots, radishes, squashes, melons, herbs, peppers, etc. Beginning mid to late December, we will sell seedlings of all varieties, and by mid-late January produce from our greenhouses. We will also sell a small number of co-op garden memberships, for those who would enjoy working in the garden and being guaranteed first choice of our weekly harvests. Our location is in San Jose de Balzay, just above Ordonez Lasso and easy to reach by car, taxi or bus. Write to us at with your interest in buying seeds, plants, produce or a membership in our co-op garden and greenhouse operation.
