Cuenca gets the good stuff, Gran Roca's fresh produce, Wednesday

Gran Roca's fresh, sustainably grown produce, including our much sought after Strawberries, Heirloom Tomatoes, Kale and real Sweet Potatoes will be available on Wednesday afternoon from 2-4 PM at Tienda Nectar on Benigno Malo near the corner of Gaspar Sangurima, only a couple of blocks from Parque Calderon.

(Apologies to last week's enthusiastic customers. We had one heck of a freak rainstorm as we were harvesting and it completely messed up our schedule. We will do better this Wednesday and we look forward to seeing you all again (and bring your friends). This week we will have tastings, cooking instructions, and pictures of salads.)

Why you want to buy from Gran Roca?

- Produce is fresh picked in the morning for sale in the afternoon
- Produce is delicious. You can tell the difference.
- Produce is grown sustainably without the use of chemicals
- There will be samples for tasting
- Most of our produce sell for $1 or less
- Purchasers of $5 or more will receive, as a thank you, a beautiful head of fresh picked lettuce, free.

So, come on over and join the fun at Nectar on Wednesday and see and taste the good stuff. We are happy to chat about the state of food, habits and health, and you can also tell us if there are other food items you are looking for. Who knows, it may already be growing at Gran Roca.
