Sharon’s Alaskan Style Shrub: Now at Carolina Smokehouse in Cuenca

We are excited to announce that starting this weekend, Sharon’s Alaskan Style Shrub is available at Carolina Smokehouse. It turns out that barbeque and Shrub are two great tastes that taste great together.

Carolina Smokehouse, aka Cuenca Art Walk Stop #6: Cuenca’s best source for bacon, prosciutto, and other smoky goodness.

This weekend Carolina Smokehouse is participating in the Cuenca Art Walk. Come on by, meet artists Evelyn Johnson and Garry Kaulitz, and see their work on display. Bob and Tamara will be handing out free tastes of Sharon’s Alaskan Style Shrub and Dave will be introducing a new-to-Cuenca line of tasty and well-priced Portuguese wines from Dos Amigos.

What’s a Shrub? Shrubs, also known as Drinking Vinegars, are sweet and tart infusions of fruit and vinegar that have been treasured for their flavor and supposed healthy qualities by cultures around the world since the 17th and 18th centuries. Sharon’s Alaskan Style Shrubs are hand-crafted using an all-natural centuries-old technique that melds simple ingredients together into a delicious tart, sweet, and fruity sensation.

Whether you are making cocktails, marinades, or salad dressings, Shrub is the secret ingredient that makes your flavors come out perfectly. Try some and see what all the fuss is about.

Saturday or Sunday, Oct 1-2, from 11-4 PM, Free, Casa Artesanal / Carolina Smokehouse, located at Honorato Vásquez 6-39 y Hermano Miguel, Cuenca
