Holidays cancelled by tour companies without any warning

My friend and I recently booked a Cosmos tour through Please know that they can cancel tours and/or cruises any time they feel like it with no warning and they do not even have to give you a reason. We purchased plane tickets to join our tour in Europe, booked an apartment in Paris and a cruise through the Greek Islands, all based on our "confirmed booking". Last Tuesday, they phoned and said they just decided to cancel our holiday. They stated that they confirm bookings on tours, but they do not guarantee the dates. How outrageous is that?

We need to make a statement that it is not okay to cost retirees on small, fixed incomes thousands of dollars by cancelling confirmed bookings on a whim and just assuming that we can change flights and other tours to suit the new date they randomly chose for us to take our holiday.

Please feel free to use a site other than vacations to go to book your holidays and to send a protesting email to saying that you are now having second thoughts about booking any future holidays through them because the threat of having your holiday cancelled at the last minute, with no warning, hangs over the head of every single customer who books with them. Thank you for your support in this.
