Recommendation for Amauta School, Spanish language education

I began studying at Amauta School when I had no knowledge of the Spanish language. I now can understand and speak clearly with the local population. The class they set up for me was one-to-one tutoring/mentoring sessions with an excellent instructor. From day one, the classes included practice in speaking Spanish as well as vocabulary and grammar. An introduction to Cuencan culture, including optional field trips and tours, is included with the tuition. An important factor for me was that the Amauta School works on a "pay as you go" plan. Tuition is paid at the end of each week, rather than having a total payment due when a student starts the program. Classes continue only as long as the student is learning and wants to continue.

The Amauta School was recommended to me by a native Cuencana. I am glad I took advantage of the recommendation and the opportunity. My ability to speak, understand, and read in Spanish would not have been as good as it is now had I not gone to Amauta School. It is very affordable.

Address: El Centro on Hermano Miguel just south of Mariscal Sucre.
